I have a problem with OWC and Analysis Services 2005. I configure my
webserver according to the instructions which can be found at
Microsofts website. I create a small testsite which contains a
connection string that I can use from Excel to connect to the cube.
When I double click my file from windows explorer I can connect to the
Cube, when I browse the file trough localhost on the server I can
connect to the cube.
But if I go to another computer within the network I am not able to
connect to the cube. I get the error message "can not connect to x or
the Analysis services is not running"
I've been testing this back and forth for a long while now and nothing
seems to fix this. Can someone give me some suggestions on what I
should do?
