Contact not appearing in Global Address List

hi,

I created some contact objects in AD via users and computers, added their
email addresses etc.

how am i able to make these objects appear in the exchange global address
list and therefore outlook

Try asking in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin group, since your question doesn't involve Outlook contacts.
