Yes - I have made up a Distrubution Folder named "Current Clients"
That's not what I asked. What's a "Distribution Folder"? Outlook has no
such term.
and my list of names and email address has been created in a file
named "Members.csv" - it is created from the MYOB accounting software
Now I want to put them all in the Distrubution list so that I can
sent a bulk email to all Clients of our monthly specials
If you have a CSV file, try this. In Outlook, while viewing your Contacts
folder, click the down-arrow next to "New" and select "Distribution List".
Click "Select Members" to open the "Select Members" dialogue. Now, open
your CSV file in Excel. If the CSV contains one name/address pair per row,
select all the names and addresses. Then right-click the selection and
choose Copy. Go back to the "Select Members" dialogue and right-click the
"Members" field. Choose Paste from the context menu. This should add the
name/address pairs to the field. Click OK and the name/address pairs should
populate into the DL. Give the DL a name, then click "Save and Close".
