"Contacting C:\Program Files\Microf..."

Word 2007 has been working fine but now, when I start it, I see this in the
lower left hand corner:
"Contacting C:\Program Files\Microsof...for information. Press ESC to
cancel."

Word hangs up at that point. When I press "ESC", I get a message that WORD
is not responding and I have to close the program. Restarting Windows Vista
does not solve the problem.

What is wrong with my WORD and how can I fix it? I will appreciate advice.

I use TrendMicro Internet Security, and there is no "Office Plugin" there
that I can disable.

Check with the Trend support groups as I believe there is some type of AV
scanning every time documents are opened.
