Simple problem. The original disk I have for Office Professional is
self-destructing. Therefore I am unable to load any further updates for
Office Professional.

Am I going to have to purchase a new copy of Office Professional or is the
disk which seems to be required every stinking time I need to update going to
be replaced?

And another thing, why does it have to be a bitch just to send a simple
email to Microsoft?

????????????????????????????????????????,

Microsoft only wants your money and the intellectual property rights
to everything. Hearing from you doesn't do any good for them, so they
don't listen.

That was the good news.

The bad news is that this newsgroup covers MS Access, a Relational
Database software product, all versions. Posting the above message
here doesn't do you any good.

Sincerely,

are you able to make a copy of the disk?
You are allowed to make a backup copy of the disk.
For suck purposes as to keep the original from becoming
Scratched and unreadable.
Try to copy all the contents of the disk into a folder on your computer.
And then try to install it, to make sure that it will install without
problems.
If so, then burn it onto a disk.
Keep the original so that you will have something to show that you are the
Rightful owner of the backup copy that you have created.

Good Luck
Wayne

Contacting MS is a piece of cake if you just follow the support options. I
just searched for Product Support Services and got to this page which has
phone numbers and directions for getting all the help you could ever want.:

http://www.microsoft.com/services/microsoftservices/supp.mspx

This is a newsgroup is devoted to Microsoft Access databases. You are much
more likely to find an answer in a group devoted to your subject.
