Dear Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
Based on my knowledge, the behavior you encountered is not a known issue
for Exchange Server 5.5 and Outlook 2002 environment. According to my
research, the delay may be caused by the following cause. When one of the
assistant creates contacts in his Outlook 2002, the changes will not be
updated to the Exchange Server as soon as creating. So in another assistant
Outlook Client Side, he cannot see the update. Based on current situation,
you can try the following test.
In one of the assistants Outlook side, create a new contact, then press
Send/Receive button to synchronize the changes to Exchange Server. Then in
boss and another assistant side, please verify whether the new-created
contact appears.
If the issue persists, please apply Outlook 2002 SP3 by the web link in the
following article.

And then create new Outlook Profiles in all Outlook XP Clients, and verify
whether the issue disappears.
Please let me know the results so that I can provide further assistance on
this problem. I am looking forward to your reply. Thanks and have a nice
day!
Thanks & Regards,
Lee Li

| Two admin assistants, connect to their boss' contact folder. The boss'
| mailbox has been added to each assistant's profile. Outlook XP is used
with
| Windows 2000 professional, and Windows 98 SE.
|
| Lately, contacts have either reverted back to earlier versions, or just
| plain disappear. For example, one assistant added three contacts to the
| contact folder. The second assistant was able to display the three
contacts
| using the advance find.
|
| Within minutes, the contacts were not in the contact folder. The three
| contacts were not found in the deleted items folder, or the deleted items
| recovery.
|
| There been other strange happenings with Outlook XP. For example;
Profiles
| unexpectedly changing.
|
| Does Outlook XP have a history of problems with exchange 5.5?
|
| Any advice would be greatly appreciated
