contacts and auto text

Auto completion of address book contacts is a hit and miss proposition
on Office X running Panther. Sometimes it allows it, most times it
does not. I then have to open up the address book, select the name and
insert it -all much more time consuming. Why is this happening and is
there a solution?

Hi Armando,

In what way doesn't it work? If you mean that you can only see the top of
the list of names, you can solve that by beginning to type the name you
want. Each letter you type will further narrow the auto completion list to
the section you're looking for.

I type the entire name because auto completion does not work. After
that I open up the address book and insert the address.
