contacts don't show up in email address

my groups don't show up on the address menu in outlook 2003
only the first group called 'Contacts' shows up in the drop down menu.
the contact list was imported from a previous version of outlook.
please help if possible - thank you.

How many other contact folders do you have? By "groups" do you mean
distribution lists or contact folder?

I think I got what you meant.

Try doing this and check if that works.

Go to the contacts folder. In the left hand side, you should be able to see
folders other than the folder called "Contacts".

Right click on one of these folders and then go to Properties and then go to
the Outlook Address Book Tab and then select the check box that says "Show
this folder as an email address book".

Do the same for the other conatcts folders too. Now you should be able to
see the other folders too come in when you click on the To or CC or BCC
button.
