contacts, email appointments disappeared from outlook

Hi,

yesterday, all my slots showed as busy, not letting me create new
appointments...so i said restore factory settings. this morning, when i fired
up my pc, all my contacts, email and appointments had dissapeared.

please help. any chance i can get them back?

Outlook simply created a new Data file (PST file). Your old one will still
be on your hard drive, probably as a hidden file. Search for *.pst. Open
each in Outlook until you find your data.

I don't think your PC understand voice commands so, I doubt you "said
restore factory settings". What exactly did you do? If you put your
vendor-supplied system restore disk into your PC and used it, you have
erased beyond recovery everything from your PC that you added since you got
it. If that's not what you did, please state exactly what it was, because I
can't find any "restore factory settings" in Outlook.
