Contacts not showing in address list?

I've just intalled OL 2003 on new computer and am pointing at my old .pst
file. All is working fine except for contacts.
Contacts does not appear as a folder in the list but is accessible from
menu.
Outlook address book is empty.
How do I convert the contacts into an address book?
If I try and say forward a message at the moment it doesn't find any
addresses at all?

Depends on how you transferred your Outlook data. Most likely, you just need
to enable your Contacts Folder as an Outlook Address Book.
