Hello Everyone,
First we have Outlook 2003. My GM has his secretary with Publishing rights
to his calendar. She has his whole outlook in her profile so both full
Outlook folder trees are there. She can see, add, delete and modify his
contacts. When she searches for contacts she has entered, the search engine
does not find them. Scroll to say Al Blagh can be found maunally. Why can't
she find them in s search? We run exchange 2k svr and he has until an hours
ago Outlook 2002 going to Outlook 2003. I thought maybe giving her Owner
rights or publishing the Contacts folder would help, but it does not show up
in the Address Book Manager so I assume this is a local search only feature?
Does any one have any suggestions or am I missing something or just not
correct? Any way around it? I have created under her contacts a mirrored
copy of his contacts and it does allow for searching. But this is a pain to
her having to copy new contacts all of the time unless Outlook does not
support it. Again, thank you for any suggestions.
Lastly, Outlook 2003 does allow for viewing and coloring TASK, Calendar and
the such, is there a way to color or change the INBOX so people like myself
with ADIN, MAILFAIL, SPAM and other admin accounts can know what mailbox they
are in without having to scroll around to make sure I am in the correct
malbox. This comes up often in our facility and thought I would check
because everything else is customizable but the Inbox.
Many thank you's in advance.
