Contacts unavailable in Outlook Email

I use outlook 2003 and I am having a problem. My contacts are alive and
well when I go directly to them. I can even use them to send an email
if I am in the Contacts section, but when I click on the "TO" button
while in the outlook email section it gives me an error telling me the
Contacts list was not available, had been moved, or I did not have
permissions.

Outlook 2003 then gives me a chance to select from a long list of
contacts. None of the selections in the contacts list have my
information. I assume that the only thing wrong is that my outlook
email program does not know where my valid contacts list is located.

If anyone knows what is causing this and how I can fix it please share
it with me. My correct return email address is listed with this
message. This really bugs me.

The association between your Contacts folder(s) and the Outlook Address Book
is broken. To fix it, go to Tools | E-mail accounts, select "View or change
existing directories or address books", and click Next. If you don't see
the OAB in the Directories and Address Books list, click the Back button,
then select "Add a new directory or address book", then "Additional Address
Books", and add the OAB. Then keep clicking Back until you get back to the
first dialog box, and go back to the Directories and Address Books list as
you did earlier.

Once the OAB appears in the list, select it and then click Change to make
sure the Contacts folder(s) you want to display are listed. If any of them
aren't listed, you'll need to enable those Contacts folders as Outlook
Address Books by right clicking the folder, selecting Properties, clicking
the Outlook Address Book tab, and checking the "Show this folder as an
E-mail address book" box. Make sure you restart Outlook after making these
changes.

I have the same problem and was just getting ready to
post when I noticed this. I hope someone can advise
quickly. I am rapidly tiring of Outlook and Bus. Contact
