I copied my personal files from one machine to another today and am having a
problem with contacts. When I go to send a new email and hit the "to"
button, I get an error message that the folder is not accessable?

check Addressbook settings Tools-> Addressbook and in addressbook Tools->
Options. Set "Show this list first" to your contactsfolder. Is it is not
listed use the Add... button
