Content Filter Blocking Tables in Word 2000

Our Mailsweeper program blocks e-mails with Word
attachments which contain either tables or track changes.
Is this because tables appear to be embedded objects in
Word 2000, not sure why track changes should get blocked.
Any suggestions?

Have people ZIP Word docs before attaching them to emails?

Otherwise, I'd say have a word with the manufacturer of
"Mailsweeper".
