Outlook 2003
Windows XP Home
Dell Dimension 4600
===================
I received an email that opened a popup window telling me
the sender had requested a 'read receipt'. There
were 'YES' and 'NO' buttons. I clicked 'YES' (which
supposedly sent the 'read receipt'). I did not 'reply'
to the actual email.
Ever since then, I have been receiving an error in
Outlook every time my 'Send/Receive' runs. It won't
allow me to copy/paste the entire message, but this is
the gist of it: 'The server responded: 503 Valid RCPT TO
<recipient> must precede DATA'
This doesn't appear to be effecting my ability to
SEND/RECEIVE email, but is quite annoying. I have
completed a System Restore - but no change. Seems like
there should be some way to 'CANCEL' it's continual
attempt to send this 'read receipt' ....
Thanks for any advice that can be given!
