Contour Chart - Find Vals for Shaded Areas

Is there a way to find the percentage of the areas of each shaded area of a
contour chart. I have a chart that is simply 3 colors. Green, red and blue
(Normal, Hot, Cold). The chart is generated by 30 data inputs. A
Surface/Contour chart is generated by excel. I have a VBA app where I need
to determe the percentage co cold, hot and normal temperatures. Can you
suggest a way to do this?
