Contours?

When you assign a resource to a task, Project assumes they will work at the
same level until done, ir, if you assign someone to a task with 5 days
duration at 50%, they will work on it at 4 hours per day for all 5 days.
But the real world is not so orderly. The task might require 6 hours the
first day, 3 hours the second, 4 hours the third and so forth. The pattern
of work, the way the rate of progress changes with time, is the work
contour.

Parul Hi,
From your questions on this newsgroup, it appears that you are a
relative newcomer to MS Project. If that is the case and you would be
interested in some tutorials, please let me know and I will send them
across.

Hope that helps. However, keep posting your questions, 'cos everyone
learns something from others' questions.
