All,

Could someone tell me how they deal with a contractor
turning into an full-time employee? I have the resource
coded up to a contractor, then once that person rolls onto
fte all the data then looks like that person was a fte the
whole time. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric,

In this scenario, I would probably create a brand new account for the
employee and disable the contractor account. Then, replace the contractor
entries in tasks where work is currently being done or has not started.

I would agree with this approach. Take the existing
account and rename it to "John Doe - CT". Create the new
account as "John Doe". This way you can retain your
historical records for contract labor and then see the new
FTE data.
