Control key not working after return from macro

P

Patricia Shannon

I had two documents open.
Most of the time I was working in one of them, and repeatedly execuing a
macro that closes the file and opens the next one in the folder. When I
returned from the macro, I was positioned at a point where I usually
immediately pressed the "Delete" key. Sometimes it would work; sometimes
nothing would happen the first time, but if not, the second time would work.
So I put the delete in the macro.
Then, when I returned from the macro, I usually immediately pressed F6, which
I had programmed to execute the macro. Again, sometimes the key worked the
first time, and sometimes I had to press it twice.
I finally closed the other document, and the control keys started working
the first time consistently.
