XP Home edition - Control Panel probs

Hi
I am trying to get my Logitech Web Camera to work having already having had
it working successfully recently.
When I double click on the Add Hardware icon in the Control Panel folder it
tells me:
"Cannot Run Two Device Installations" - and that I "can only install one
device at a time. Another device installation is underway."
I am not installing any other hardware.
If you can assist I'd appreciate your help
Regards Der
