Controls erroneously show on Multiple Tabs

P

Phil from PRC

This situation shows up in Access 2000, 21002, and 2003.

I have a form with 5 Tabs (tab1, tab2, ... tab5). Each tab has a set of
controls and subforms being used for our functionality. There are 2 labels
and 1 combobox defined on Tab1 that are only suppose to display on Tab1. For
some reason these labels and the combobox are showing up superimposed on top
of other controls on tab2, tab3, tab4, and tab5.

Please help!! I haven't been able to figure out why these controls are
showing up on these other tabs when they are not suppose to.

This happens when the controls aren't actually placed on the tab page, but
on the form *behind* the tab page. To fix it, select the controls, cut them
from the page, click on the page tab itself to select the page, then paste
them back again and reposition them as needed.

problem!
