Hi Kim,
Word doesn't have any filters for PDF files, and neither Microsoft nor Adobe
have produced any. Consequently, you can't simply open a PDF file with, or
import a PDF file into, Word.
You can open PDF files for viewing etc with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader,
available from
http://www.adobe.com. Other than that, if you need to import
the PDF file into a Word document, there are various converters available
(eg Solid Converter at
www.solidpdf.com)
