conversions from Word to Access

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert and import
files from MS-Word into MS-Access or from MS-Word into
MS-Excel? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks

Hi Clarence,

Assuming the Word documents contain tabular data -

If the data is in Word tables, you can often copy and paste into Excel.
Otherwise, use Word's Table|Convert to text command and proceed as
below.

If the data fields are separated by tabs, commas or semicolons, save the
document as text without linebreaks or formatting. Then delete
everything except the actual data plus one row of field names, save, and
import the resulting textfile into Access or Excel.

If you need to extract information from other kinds of Word document,
it's usually possible but can be tricky. Post back with more
information.

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert and import
files from MS-Word into MS-Access or from MS-Word into
MS-Excel? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks
