convert 2000 to 07

[TioEd`65]

I have been trying to convert a 2000 to 07 access db. I am the creator and
only user. I get the following error:

You attempted to open a database that is already open exclusively by user
'Admin' on machine <machine name>. Try again when database is available.

I have gone into the access users and permissions ribbon and created Admin1
and new user to no avail.

please help.

Some one may come up with a better answer but until then, try this: Import
everything (all objects) in a new Access 2007 Database, then compile code and
then Compact and Repair.
