convert 8 1/2" x 11" pages into 11 x 17" format

I have four 8 1/2" x 11" Word documents. I want to convert them to a
front-and-back 11" x 17" document. Any ideas?

Assuming you have a printer that can actually print 11" x 17," choose that
as the paper size, then in Page Setup (assuming Word 2000 or above), choose
"2 pages per sheet." Insert your four Letter-size documents.
