convert a word document into a powerpoint presentation

I have created a 6 page word document which contains photographs. I want to
convert it to a powerpoint presentation.

You can use File/Send to/PowerPoint to send the text over, but you'll want
to spend some time applying styles to the text in the Word document first.

explanation.

The images will have to be cut and pasted into PPT -- they don't get sent in
the Send to PPT process.

If you have the images available as separate files, it would be better to
insert them into PPT using Insert/Picture/From File.
