Convert Access 97 to Access 2007 help

I have to convert a application created in 97 to 2007 that I built 8 years
ago. Is there a guide on how to do this and what I should look out for? I am
thinking that I will store the data tables on a safe server and all the other
objects on the admin desktop.
How difficult will this conversion be and how much time would one expect to
do this?

I will want to store the data tables in a safe folder and the app on the
admin desktop. I am not sure how to do this. Big deal?

Not sure what you mean by "a safe folder". Since the admin desktop is simply
a location somewhere on the hard drive, putting an MDB (or MDE or ACCDB or
ACCDE) file there shouldn't be a big deal.

From what I have read, 2007 security has changed and one method of applying
security would be to separate the queries, reports, forms and macros from the
data tables. MS suggest separating and placing the data tables on a server in
a secure folder. So essentially the question is does one move the data
tables out of the app to a server after converting from Access 97 to access
2007?
Thanks for your input.
