Hi,

I need to have a .dbf4 file to use in another software(ArcView 3.x).

I began with an existing .dbf4 file in Excel, added a new column of cells
that are created with a formula(PROPER)referencing another column. Then I
"Save" the .dbf4 But would not save the newly created column. So, I tried
to create the new column with an existing .xls file that has the same data.
It saved the new column fine. But since my goal is to have a .dbf4 file for
use in a different software, I "Save As" (convert into .dbf4)the file as
..dbf4. However, it did not save the column.


Please help.
