convert cd to diskette

C

I have a problem. The cd died on the laptop at school we
were supposed to put Powerpoint (from Office) onto. I
need to convert Office 2000 into 3 1/2 floppy diskettes
to load the programs. Are there any utilities or
proceedure to do this? I know it is going to take a blue
million diskettes, but I have no other choice. (no
network card or other options for transfer) - Thank you!

The only way to resolve your immediate problem is to buy an external
USB/Parallel versions of CD writers. USB ones are quite cheap (see
IOMEGA.com). If you don't have USB ports then you will need parallel
port versions which are quite dear. See
http://www.micro-solutions.com/products/drives/cdrw.asp

In the long run this is the best option as you will need a cd drive
these days.! Very few software comes on floppies and also, most PCs
don't have floppy drive. times hav changed when everything used to run
from 2 (5 1/2) 360kb!

you!

.
Thank you very much! I picked one up yesterday!
