The only way to resolve your immediate problem is to buy an external
USB/Parallel versions of CD writers. USB ones are quite cheap (see
IOMEGA.com). If you don't have USB ports then you will need parallel
port versions which are quite dear. See

In the long run this is the best option as you will need a cd drive
these days.! Very few software comes on floppies and also, most PCs
don't have floppy drive. times hav changed when everything used to run
from 2 (5 1/2) 360kb!
