it "microsoft XP" refered to office XP
Outlook Express for email. I know how to export files
from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook, but I cannot
figure out how to disable Outlook Express so it gets no
new mail. I want Microsoft Outlook to get all the new
mail. I have all the incoming / outgoing server info
correct on Microsoft Outlook.
Remove the relavent server information from Outlook Express, and it
will no longer receive new mail. That, or just never open Outlook
Express - it will only get mail when you have it opened. Don't know
the exact steps to removing the mail settings from OUtlook Express,
but I believe it's under Tools, Accounts - find the account you want
from the list (check the Mail tab if you have a bunch listed under
"All"). Click on it, and choose "Remove" from the right. That should
do the trick.
