Convert Gmail MBOX to PST for Outlook Import

I recently downloaded my Gmail data using Google Takeout in MBOX format. Now I want to import these emails into Outlook, but it only supports PST files. What is the easiest and safest way to convert Gmail MBOX to PST?

Hey, I went through the same thing when I moved from Gmail to Outlook at work a few months ago. I had a lot more trouble with it than I thought I would, but I finally found something that worked great.
The whole process was pretty easy because I used WholeClear MBOX to PST Converter. What I did was this:
  • First, I used Google Takeout (go to takeout.google.com, choose Mail, and download) to save my Gmail info as an MBOX file.
  • After that, I put the MBOX file into WholeClear MBOX to PST Converter.
  • The tool showed me a sample of all my emails before converting them, which was a great way to make sure everything was okay.
  • Hit "Convert," picked "PST" as the format, and that was it.
  • Finally, I used File > Open & Export > Import/Export to bring the PST file into Outlook.
