"Convert Main Data Source" woes

Hello,

I'm trying to use the "Convert Main Data Source" functionality in
InfoPath. My new data source is a new root element with the old data
source below it. My problem is that I'm getting about 33% of views
that don't have controls that are not bound, however I can't see any
connection between the views that are bound properly and the unbound
views.

Any ideas?

Hey Brian
As far as I know there is no direct connection between the views and the
data source, you will however get some broken connections between your
controls and their associated nodes as the data structure has changed.
InfoPath does it's best to match up but sometimes it runs into problems.

if you right click on the controls that are not bound you can choose to
"Change Binding" from here you can select the field you want to connect the
control to
