convert .mov files to another format

I am having trouble using the .mov format files, is there any way to convert
them into a file that is more compatible?

You could use a video conversion program like AVS Video Converter
(www.avsmedia.com, not free but inexpensive) to convert it to another format
like MPG or AVI.
