Convert Outlook 2001 to Entourage X

I no longer have access to an exchange server but need to access my
personal folder info from Outlook 2001. How do i convert or open/export
the Outlook 2001 Personal Folder to an mbox so Entourage can open it?

Hi Jeff!

If you have the ability to copy a profile from a current Mac user in
your organization you can use the Outlook Settings application in the
Outlook 2001 folder to remove all Exchange references and leave only the
Personal Folders service. This will allow you to open the Personal
Folder file without requiring you to log in to a server first.

In an entry in an older blog of mine I've posted an empty profile that
you can download and use if you don't have access to one of your own.

Unfortunately, once you've opened your Personal Folder file you're
limited with what you can do without an Exchange server. You don't have
the ability to export mail, only contacts. At best you could view and
print your messages.

you are a lifesaver, thanks. I had to use Outlook Settings application to
delete the Exchange server before it would let me run the program, but then
it worked.
