convert outlook contacts into wab address book file?

i'm trying to manage my contacts so i can access them from my desktop instead
of having to open outlook everytime i need a contact ... and also to export
them to a .wab file that can be imported into another adress book. is anybody
familiar with how to do this? many thanks. doncon

Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]

You cannot export directly from Outlook to a WAB. You can export to a CSV
file, then import that into a WAB via OE to accomplish the same thing.
