convert powerpoint to document format for emailing and printing

What is the best and easiest way to convert a powerpoint presentation to a
document format. This would allow students to use each slide as a page on
which to write notes. I would like to email the converted file to each
student. Thanks.

Click File > Send To > Ms Office Word.
See if that is what you want.
