Convert web site to PDF document?????

Is it possible to convert a web site built with FrontPage 2003 to a PDF
document?

For those of you wondering why in the world I'm asking that question, I
create a monthly newsletter.
I would like to publish the newsletter on the web. HOWEVER.....I have
readers
that simply insist on being able to print the newsletter as they do not want
to read it on the web.
My intent is to put the PDF version of the newsletter as a link on the web
page for those who wish
to download it.

I tried using Microsoft Publisher. It has the ability to convert a document
to a web site. And it also can be printed out to Distiller to turn it into
a PDF.

However I ran into a problem. The web site that Publisher created caused IE
6.0 to crash whenever I attempted to surf thru it.
I was unable to find out why the crash occured nor how to fix it.

So I'm looking for other alternatives. I own the entire MS Office suite as
well as FrontPage 2003 and it sure would be nice if I could use a
combination of those to create the site and PDF with minimal effort.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

in adobe acrobat you can convert pages into PDF documents

you'd probably be better off just making the site print friendly. you can
accomplish this by making parallel pages or with .css

they could just visit your web page as it is and print it couldn't they?
are you trying to take out the site graphics for the "print lovers"?

if you visit my site below you can hit file/ print preview and you'll see a
much different rendering.

Please forgive my ignorance but...how would you be able to print the entire
site all at once?
I doubt people are going to want to click File->Print on every page of the
site.
And I don't want it all in one huge page because that'll take forever on
dialup.

The big problem is that each month I create an entirely new newsletter.
Therefore I want to minimize the amount of effort in converting it to the
web and also to a printable format.

Thanks

Please give us an example of a newsletter so we can better estimate what
approach will be best. PDF files can be very slow to load..... much slower
than webpages. There are so many variables here. Give us a URL, please.
Chris' idea of making the pages user friendly is, I imagine the best
solution.

YES, I agree.... do not use Publisher for anything pretaining to the
website! Don't be tempted!

I just did a two page newsletter with MS Pub and put it on website.
Don't create a webpage from MS Pub...it really mucks things up.
Create a PDF out of it, then crop it. So now you have a .pdf that will fit
on a webpage - it's a little small to read but it's ok.
Then I created a like to the .pdf file for viewers to download and print the
pdf file themselves.
Worked great, and looks ok.
Each .pdf is 70k though so it might be a little slow for dialup users.

Anyway, that's how i did it for my limited web audience, because it is a
pain in the butt having to do a print newsletter and THEN having to redesign
it forr the web.

hth.

If you have the full version of acrobat 5 (may need a free download from
Adobe) or 6 it has the ability to turn an entire website into one
hyperlinked PDF. See the Adobe sit or your Acrobat help fids for more info.
