Convert xls to vsd?

Can anyone tell me how to convert xls files to vsd. We use excel to draw
maps and are converting to visio? I need to convert all of the past maps to
visio format.

You will need to write some VBA code to process the information in the Excel
spreadsheet.

What does the information in the spreadsheet represent?
