converted 97 app to 2k - bizarre report problem

I recently converted an Acc97 app to Acc2k. The conversion of the FE apps
was successful on ALL 10 workstations except 2 workstations have this
bizarre report problem. This client is using Win2000 PC's (French version)
with Office 2000 Premium (French version).

The report will only print letters and NO numbers. No dates, no time, no
integers, et.al. The alphabet is not a problem.

Ex.

Date: - - should be: Date 14-06-2004

Vehicle: TR X should be: Vehicle: TR75X66

Amount: $ . should be: Amount: $1000.00

This happens only on two Win2K workstations while the other 8 workstations
have no problem whatsoever!

I have tried reinstalling MS Office 2000 several times. Same problem.
Regional settings on these 2 PC's look
normal.

I had network administrator looking at the problem but he quickly blamed
Access as the source of the fault.

The printers selected are used by the other workstations and the reports
work fine. Before the conversion, the
reports worked fine on all printers.

Before the conversion:

users were working with Win2k PC's, MS Office 2000 (Access uninstalled) and
MS Office 97 (Access97 only).

Access97 was fully removed from all systems.
MS Office 2000 was reinstalled on all systems.
Access FE app was converted and then copied to each device.

Where do I look to correct these 2 workstations?
