converted access 97 reports wont open in office xp

Hello all,

My company has just migrated from NT4.0 to Sever 2003. We are using Acitive
Directory, and I have the following questions?

1. When I attempt to open any report in Office XP, nothing happens when I
double click on the icon for report. Dbase is converted from access-97.
2.Are there any opptions that must be set to convert 97 to xp successfully?

Hi. Try installing a generic printer driver to a local port on your computer
(like LPT1). the printer does not need to be connected.
That should fix the problem.

Hello Fons/all,

On my network, the option to chose a Local Printer is disabled. Is there any
other method that can be used to install a local printer.

Hi. No, I don't think so, you may need to contact your it support and have
them install the printer.
