Converter?

Dear all,

I am using a notebook with Window XP and Office XP, and I
also just bought a Powerbook G4 with OSX 10.2.3

Some people told me to get/download a converter so that I
can view/work with two different Offices. But when I go
to the microsoft download page, I just don't know
what/which to download, would anyone of you can help me?

Thanks & regards,
Stephen

Office X or 204 can perfectly open and work with files from Office XP and
vice versa. You just have to be careful to use the same sets of fonts on both
machines and not use tricky VBA or weird image formats in Office XP.

Office 2004 even comes with a compatibility checker which will point out what
aspects of your documents can be problematic on other versions of Office.

If you've got MacOffice, there's no converter needed.

WinOffice97/00/02/03 and MacOffice98/01/v.X/04 share identical formats.
Features vary, of course, but all versions will open versions created in
all others.

To work with OfficeXP on your Powerbook you can get Virtual PC. It won't
run nearly as fast as on your WinTel Notebook, but it's usable:
