Converting 2007 .docx to earlier .doc leaves off borders

My sister sent a document to me done in Word 2007 with a pretty border. I
could not open it until I dowloaded a converter from Microsoft Office. It now
opens the file but tells me it can't show the border because I am missing
something. It wants to download something from Professional Front Page which
I don't have. My sister says she doesn't have it either and didn't use that
to make the border. Anyone have an idea of what I need to do?

hey if your sister still has whatever it was that she sent you saved on her
comp then get her to go to the save as opyion (im geussing you know how to
get there)
then she cvan save it under the same name, but under the place where it asks
for the "file name" there should be something saying doc type (or somthing
like that) she will have the option to save it as a .doc file. It will say
some thing like word 1997-2003 choose that one and resend it to you.

whatever she used to make the border is probably an 07 add in so you may not
be able to edit it =/
