Converting an XLS file to PDF

When I convert a worksheet to PDF, the info in some of the columns is not as it appears in the worksheet. Info that is left justified in the worksheet is not in the PDF. Words are cut off in some columns making it appear if letters are missing. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to fix it.

Basically, "Allow more room".

There are things you can do to improve the fidelity when converting to PDF,
but the ultimate answer is that the conversion will never be "exact".

One of the most important tips is to select the printer you formatted the
Workbook for before saving as PDF. Excel gets all of its page measurements
from the printer driver. If you select a "Generic" printer when saving to
PDF, the result can be quite a way off.

Make sure all of the fonts used in the Workbook are installed: at print
time, the PDF writer will substitute for any fonts that are not installed.

And don't set things too tight: you need to allow room for the lines to
print as well as the text.

Sorry: It's trial and error; you get good at it after a while.

Hope this helps
