Usually, when transferring between (hmmm... what is the correct term here...
ahhh) competing softwares, you will need to back up a few versions and save
the file to a format they both understand.
Does your friend have a 'Save As' function that converts to a PPT
(PowerPoint) file? If so, then she should save using that format. When you
get the file, you should be able to open it. However, all the new features
installed in the interim versions may be lost. So you should be able to get
a basic presentation from Corel 10, but probably not with all the
animations, transitions and goodies intact.
