Visual Calendar Dilemma
I'm trying to find a "simpler" application than MS Project for converting a
data list inclusive of tasks with start and finish due dates into a visual
calendar format. I have various reasons for not wanting to use MS Project,
but mainly for the purpose of this question, it is due to the fact that MS
Project isn't very flexible about formattig in the visual calendar. I would
like to "fill" some bars and not others, possibly have different font colors
for different tasks, and so on.
Is there a tool out there that can do this?
It would be great if I could have an excel spreadsheet (as an example) that
I have certain cells filled with different colors and the same formatting
carries over into the visual calendar. Or at the very least places the tasks
on the appropriate dates and allows for manual formatting.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated!
