Converting files saved in Excel 5.0 to Excel 2000

I have a floppy that was saved in Excel 5.0 and when I
opened it in Excel 2000 the information was all spread out
and missing some headings. What do I do now?

NEVER open a file on a floppy. Copy to the HD and then open.
You may have "hosed" it but try it the way I suggest.
