Converting from 1-2-3 to Excel

Hi!

I have converted a formula from 1-2-3 to Excel, and I have
a problem:

@STRING(E24;0) is transferred to
(FIXED(E24;0;TRUE)

I do believe that TEXT is the Excel version, but I cant
get it to work. The content of e24 is 200301401
Anyone have an idea?

Mr G,

TEXT takes the form of

=TEXT(value,format_text)

but what exactly do you want to format it as. If it's a text string already,
it does n othing or errors.
