converting from 2002 to 2000

I have set up a template and database in excel 2002 but a
colleague now wants to run it on excel 2000. Can this be
done?

Unless you've used some features that are specific to Excel 2002, it
should work fine in Excel 2000, just by opening it.

In general, though, it is better to do it the other way round - develop
in the lowest version you'll need to support, then run it in the more
recent versions.
