I setup a mileage sheet for my Pocket PC which has Pocket
PC 2003 that came with Pocket Excel.
When I formated the sheet some of the cells have boarders
and others do not. There are a few cells that are
irregular from the others, for example Column B3 - B34 all
have a full boarder then in Column C the full border
extends down all the way down to C35, there is then
additional data with just a bottom boarder on D38.
This leaves Cell A34-A38 with out any data or boarders at
all and this is exactly how it locks on the Pocket PC. How
ever when I transfer the excel file to my Home Computer
which has Office XP on it cells A34 - A38 all have a
dotted/dashed boarder.
This stays there even if I select the entire sheet and
click no boarders and try to manually add them back.
I am doing no conversions and just copying the file to my
documents folder on my home pc then opening them with
Excel XP to view and print them.
The only way I am able to get the proper boarders it to
manually create a new Sheet with the Excel XP and copy and
paste the specific cells with the data in it.
I am not sure what version of Pocket Excel I have - it is
what came with Pocket PC 2003
On the PC I have - Office XP with MS Excel 2002
(10.4524.4219) Sp 2, I am running Windows XP on this
machine with all the current updates.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you,
